SAT Testing

SAT Testing: March 20th 8:00am – 1:00pm | Mandatory for ALL Juniors.

Students must report to their testing rooms by 8:00 am.  It is extremely important to come to school on time on the day of the SAT because students will not be admitted to the testing floor once the test begins.

Absolutely no electronics are allowed in the testing rooms. All students will be required to surrender all electronics in their possession.  Electronics will be returned to at the end of the testing period. If a student is seen using an electronic device or if it makes a noise at any time (including during breaks), he or she will be dismissed immediately from the testing floor, his or her scores will be canceled, and the device may be confiscated and its contents inspected.

Students are encouraged to bring two sharpened number two pencils with soft erasers, a watch with no audible alarm (to time themselves), and snacks. Students will only be allowed to eat and drink their snacks during the three official breaks.  Students must be in their seats at the end of the 5-minute break period.  Students will not be allowed to leave the testing floor during the testing period, nor will they be allowed to access their lockers during breaks.  Rosters with assigned testing locations for students will be posted outside of the Gym and Main Office.  Lunch will be provided after the exam period ends.
